Wash A Bin Ltd is a wheelie bin cleaning service based in Peterborough, serving Peterborough, Harlow and the surrounding towns and villages. This page explains what information we collect through this website, what we do with it, and the choices you have.

When you book a clean, we collect the details needed to carry out the service: your name, phone number, email address, the cleaning address, your chosen service and date, and any notes you add.

We use these details only to deliver the service you booked: to schedule the visit, to contact you about your booking if needed, and to keep the records required for accounting. We do not sell your details to anyone.

Online payments are handled by Square, our payment provider. Your card details are entered on Square's secure checkout and are never seen or stored by this website. We receive from Square the payment confirmation, the amount paid and a payment reference, so we can match payments to bookings.

Square's own handling of payment data is governed by Square's privacy policy, available on their website.

This website uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies. Some are essential for the site to work (for example, remembering your cookie choice itself); others, used for analytics and advertising measurement, are optional.

Where the law in your region requires consent before optional measurement tools run (such as the UK and EEA), a banner lets you accept or reject them, and they do not run unless you accept. In regions where the law permits these tools without prior consent, they may run by default; either way, you can change your choice at any time using the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, and the site works the same.

The optional tools are Google Analytics, which measures how the site is used (which pages are visited, whether bookings are completed), and a Meta (Facebook) pixel, which measures whether our own advertising leads to bookings. These tools may set cookies and receive information such as pages viewed and the reference of a completed booking.

If you reject optional measurement cookies, these tools are not loaded and any stored advertising-attribution data on your device is cleared.

We do not currently display third-party banner or network advertising on this website. The advertising-related tools described above only measure the performance of ads we place ourselves on Google and Meta platforms, and are subject to the cookie choices described above.

If that ever changes - for example, if we display network advertising in future - this page will be updated to name the providers involved before that happens. We do not claim any certification or compliance status on this page that has not been independently verified.

Booking records are stored in our secured service database and kept for as long as needed to deliver the service and meet accounting and legal obligations. Payment records from Square are kept so we can match payments to bookings and produce accurate accounts.

We keep access to this data restricted to the people who need it to run the service.

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it. You can also object to marketing measurement at any time by rejecting cookies via "Cookie settings" in the footer.
